Pray for President Monson
I encourage all to earnestly pray daily for the health of President Monson. While unlikely Pres Monson will be the great reformer to bring on the second coming by bringing us back to the original intent of the WofW (preaching it as a good practice rather than a requirement), it’s a even money bet Pres Monson will further simplify our temple liturgy and send the silly Gs the way of the dodo bird once stick-in-the-mud Pres Packer goes on to his eternal reward. For those who scoff, I predicted two piece G’s and simplified temple liturgy years before those changes. The reforms are inevitable, may Monson be the guy to do it.

Interesting notion. I wonder what will be modified or changed in the way we do things?
2 hour block and less mid week meetings would suit me. Not that suits everyone or the Lord but it would not hurt my feelings.

Let’s pray for you, that you’ll be able to accept all the Pres. Monson does or does not do.

I don’t mind garments at all. And I have no desire to drink Budweiser.

Oh come-on! G’s suck and are just plain weird and cultish. Thier symbolism could be accomplished in far simpler ways, as was cover on an old post here. JS didn’t wear his all the time; way are we asked too? I only wear mine to keep peace at home. As the LDS church continues the march into the mainstream, dumping the Gs for something much simpler is inevitable, and when change is inevitable, delay is nothing more that impotent foot dragging.
BTW, I don’t desire beer or booze. What I object to putting up bogus barriers to entry into the kingdom like four don’ts when we aren’t supposed to have such barriers. It’s become our circumcision, 2000 years after such barriers were dropped!
Oh, Bud is glorified piss; I’m a Guinness man.

My beer was Olympia, milder than Budweiser or Coors, but oh so good on a hot summer day. I’ve been tempted of late, maybe it’s because they’re going to let me drink.
